Being pregnant is an amazing experience. Men and women of all ages stop you on the street to congratulate you or to guess what sex your new child will be, and your spouse runs around opening doors and placing down cushions for you. The best part? You get to eat – almost whatever you want, whenever you want. The boys have a frog cornered in a low patch on the far side of the lot that has filled with rain from last night’s storm. I’m walking back to the house with Saffron when a boy steps out of one of the other town houses.
“Hey, are they your kids,” he asks.
“Yep, two boys,” I know they’ll be excited to have another kid join them.
